Women’s Evening Group
The Women’s Evening Group, affectionately known as “the WEGS” is a long-running church group. The founding members originally met in the evenings, after their husbands had come home and their children had gone to bed. These ladies are now grandmothers and great-grandmothers and meet during the day. For many years, they ran a monthly stall selling handcraft items. That was interrupted by coronavirus, but the ladies are still producing lovely items and making jams, which are available at the annual Fete and other times.
