Electronic Giving

The Parish is required to fund all of our activities including salaries and stipends for our clergy and lay staff, maintenance of our church buildings and the various administration costs and our various mission activities.  These expenses are funded by the giving of parishioners, either in the plate at our Sunday Eucharists and mid-week services or electronically, and the proceeds of twice monthly Op Shop sales.

We can cater for those wishing to give either via regular direct debiting or by electronic funds transfer (EFT) directly to St. John’s bank account.

If you wish to make your offertory by EFT please note the details of the bank account:

St Johns Church Gordon – BSB 032-083 – Account number 81-0231

When making EFT deposits simply note the details of the deposit as “offertory”.  Should you wish to contribute to the Op Shop renovation project, mark your gift accordingly.  Details of all on-line offertories remain confidential.

Those wishing to set up a regular direct debit should email the parish office for details: office@stjohnsgordon.org.au

The church EFTPOS machine is located in the narthex for a convenient means for worshippers to make an offertory while at church for Sunday morning or Thursday morning services.  The machine is moved to the Op Shop for purchases at Op Shop sales.
