A group meets for study and fellowship in private homes weekly on Wednesdays at 6.15pm.
Formed early in 2003, this group of retired men used to meet for tea or coffee and fellowship at 1.00pm each Wednesday in the Upper Room of the church halls complex. Sadly, due to age this group has had to fold. However, if there are other men who are interested in starting a new group, please contact Fr. Keith.
The Men’s group in the past have conducted many small and medium size projects in the parish. They constructed the flagpole precinct pavement and most recently they completed a ramp to give wheelchair access to the church via the chapel door.
Prayer is fundamental to the Christian life and to the life of a growing fruitful parish. Jesus based his life and ministry on time in prayer. St Paul encouraged the Thessalonian Church to pray without ceasing.
